Tom is a seasoned attorney specializing in workers' compensation, personal injury, and appellate litigation, with over 45 years of experience advocating for injured individuals in Missouri. He joined Dowd & Dowd in September of 2024 after a distinguished tenure at Mogab & Hughes Attorneys, P.C. from August 1978 to August 2024. During his career, he has handled more than 400 workers' compensation trials, served as first-chair trial attorney in over 30 personal injury jury trials, and briefed and argued more than 40 cases before the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Missouri Supreme Court.
A respected member of the legal community, Mr. Gregory holds an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

- Drewes v. TWA (984 S.W.2d 512, Mo. banc 1999), which favored broad application of workers' compensation amendments for injured employees;
- State ex rel. Eli Lilly v. Gaertner (619 S.W.2d 761, Mo. App. 1981), denying official immunity to state-employed doctors in medical malpractice claims;
- Hall v. Fru-Con Construction Corp. (46 S.W.3d 30, Mo. App. E.D. 2001), establishing employer responsibility for home modifications for seriously injured workers.
Mr. Gregory has secured substantial recoveries for clients, including:
- $15,000,000 settlement for a factory worker with permanent lung damage from chemical exposure (plus $350,000 in workers' compensation);
- $10,500,000 settlement for a flavoring plant worker with toxic lung injuries (plus $2 million in projected workers' compensation benefits);
